Working Groups
The Active Cyber Defence Alliance (ACDA) operates working groups to address challenges to the adoption of active cyber defence. These groups are resourced by the efforts of members.
The ACDA Lawful Countermeasures working group aims to clarify the safe boundaries on what counter measures are lawful for civilian organisations to undertake in defending themselves from cyber-attack, what are the consequences of not acting, and to clarify interfaces between industry, law enforcement & national security.
Responsible for the ACDA contribution to public policy. Responds to legislative reform initiatives and public inquiries relevant to cyber defence.
Works to extend existing and emerging and security standards frameworks to incorporate appropriate active cyber defence measures. Supports other ACDA working groups with specialist advice.
Proof of Concept
The PoC group will recruit public and private sector entities to undertake or work on Active Cyber Defence concepts where they can; develop their active cyber defence capability, safely evaluate the value/effectiveness of Active Cyber Defence.
